The dynamic nature of this role requires a reliable and organised candidate to give the CEO executive support so that the CEO can focus on high-level leadership and  functions, a ‘Right-hand person who enables CEO to advance organizational initiatives and strategic goals.


Key Job Outputs:

  • Serves as eyes and ears for the CEO
  • Interacts seamlessly and with professional demeanor across a broad range of individuals including members of EXCOs, board of directors and leaders that report to the CEO
  • Perform this job successfully and serve as a trusted partner, the candidate is expected to handle highly sensitive confidential information while exercising professionalism and discretion
  • Manage the CEO Scheduling, manage the scheduling of strategic meetings, especially with key external and internal stakeholders, ensure the CEO’s schedule aligns with the organisation’s goals and objectives, display exceptional organising skills and strong sense on initiative
  • act as a liaison between the CEO and other departments | business Clustersact as a ‘bridge’ to ensure all information flows smoothly and efficiently so that the CEO has all the information required to make informed decisions, participate in high-level meetings, conferences, statutory bodies and prepare as required, network and build relationships with board members, EXCO members, business partners and other stakeholders, promote strong desired culture by supporting CEO efforts to enhance openness in regular communications and stakeholder engagements
  • Communication and correspondence management, take care of all communication and correspondence for the CEO, emails, letters and more, to ensure nothing slips through the cracks, write correspondence that gets to the point, accurately and concisely relaying CEO’s messages, manage CEO website and all internal communication to ensure reputation management, clear, concise communication with colleagues, clients and partners is essential to success in this role, responsible for maintaining effective systems and processes for simplified document management,  responsible for all paperwork, drafting of reports, creating presentations, and managing contracts, ensure everything is correct and organized
  • Handle confidential documentation, honouring confidentiality, using discretion, and practicing good judgment are all integral to success in the role, maintain confidential records and take notes at strategic CEO’s meetings, prepare and organise important strategic materials in support of board meetings, responsible for coordinating executive outreach and cultivating external relationships through tasks like drafting correspondence, preparing, agendas, generating budgets, and other confidential materials for board meetings, liaise with senior management teams, board members, and other higher-ups on behalf of the CEO, this takes more than strong written and verbal communication skills; it also necessitates the ability to interact with many different people at all levels with confidence and competence
  • Ability to stand in for the CEO during non-critical meetings, use knowledge and judgment to make decisions in CEO stead, anticipate the needs and preferences of the chief executive, this means not constantly relying on the leader’s direction but having the foresight to predict and plan, monitor and report on progress of KPIs and STIs measures for CEO performance reporting
  • Research and Analysis, conduct research and analysis of data and create reports as well as point-of-views to assist the CEO in making decisions, gather facts from different sources and present them in an easy-to-understand way, eye for detail, analysing trends that could lead to improved decision-making, predictions and risk mitigation project management, juggle multiple projects within CEO’s office, prioritise and ensure deadlines are met, monitor progress of tasks and keep CEO and other key people informed on progress, eliminate confusion and increase efficiencies in all CEO’s projects, mitigate and manage possible risks associated with CEO’s projects
