A company that specialises in the redevelopment of commercial, retail, residential and entertainment properties is seeking a Head – Media and Event Sales who will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying potential opportunities, and driving revenue growth in our diverse portfolio of spaces


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Proven sales experience in the media and eventing industry with a demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • An extensive network of contacts within the media and eventing sectors
  • Familiarity with current trends and best practices in media and eventing space utilisation and advertising


Key Job Outputs:

Business development

  • Identify and target potential clients and companies to generate new business opportunities
  • Establish and nurture a strong network within the media and events sectors
  • Actively seek out new partnerships and collaboration opportunities to expand our client base

Sales and revenue generation

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by proactively promoting and selling our media and event spaces
  • Conduct persuasive sales presentations to showcase the unique value proposition of our spaces
  • Negotiate and close deals while ensuring the satisfaction of both parties involved

Relationship management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Act as a point of contact for client inquiries, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally

Market research and analysis

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive offerings, and market demands to position our spaces competitively
  • Analyse data and sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and strategise on maximising sales potential

Collaborative approach

  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales campaigns to attract potential clients
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure the seamless execution of events and client requirements
