Purpose:
A medical devices company is seeking an ITC Specialist who will be responsible and accountable to provide finance analytics, reporting and issue resolution for local and GBS teams, supporting accounts receivables; the position has responsibility for the timely and accurate reporting of metrics, support the resolution of discrepancies and issues as well as preparation of account reconciliations and resolutions of differences, participate in process improvement projects
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience required in finance, accounts receivable or accounting
- Very strong skills with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), particularly Excel required
- Previous experience working in a shared services/GBS environment an advantage
Key Job Outputs:
Accounts Receivables
- Calculate monthly territory DSO numbers, sales to cash conversion ratios and territory performance
- Prepare various accounts receivables standard and metrics reports on a timely basis
- Support month end closing activities
General
- Prepare analysis to remediate any process delivery issues
- Prepare monthly accounts receivables account reconciliations on a timely basis where needed
- Investigate and resolve any reconciling discrepancies
- Provide recommendations to management
- Support internal and external audits and provide documentation as required
- Working closely with management to support SOX controls, risk assessments and remediations
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and provide analysis to management
- Support GBS management with the implementation of process enhancements and performance improvements
- Includes improving the quality and timing of recording transactions, leveraging systems to provide greater visibility of financial information and automating processes to reduce manual effort
- Support management with various projects, identification, development and implementation of continuous process and service improvement initiatives.
