A manufacturing company that specializes in reinforcement products is seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Coastal (KZN to P.E) who will be responsible to manage the Coastal Technical and Sales Team including revenue targets set by Business Unit Manager for the specified allocated area/region


Key Job Outputs:

  • Level 3 project management
  • Marketing at Expo’s and similar
  • Proposals to clients
  • Proposal to supply management
  • Financial management of proposals/projects
  • Project follow ups
  • Travel to areas for local contact
  • Instruct and liaise with local agents and distributors
  • Conduct solution training
  • Presentations
  • Reporting and planning
  • Articles, case histories and editorials
  • Client training: site and office
  • CRM updates
  • New business development
  • Maintain relationships with KZN consultants and contractors
  • Identify solutions and market them to assigned accounts
  • Keep track of all new quotes and orders to key clients
  • Update assigned accounts with the latest product information
  • Generate new business by being proactive in identifying new opportunities and promoting new solutions
  • Read and interpret drawings to assist consultants and contractors

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Candidate Engineer
  • Tertiary qualification in Sales would be advantageous



  • Minimum 3 – 5 years proven commercial sales experience – must be industry related
  • Engineering consulting would be advantageous
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and bill of quantity
  • Ability to liaise with consultants (1st Sale)
  • Ability to liaise with contractors (2nd Sale)
  • Project management
  • Must be multilingual (English, 1 African Language)
  • MS Office Suite and AutoCad
