Purpose:

A chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Brand Ambassador who will be responsible for representing and promoting the company’s brand products, and services Primary objective is to create positive brand awareness in stores, engage with potential customers, and drive sales through direct interactions and promotional events, serving as the face of the brand, ensuring strong presence m the market and fostering a loyal customer base

 

Key Job Outputs:

Brand representation

  • Act as the public face of the company brands, embodying its values and image
  • Maintain a professional and engaging presence at all promotional events, retail locations and brand activations
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the brand’s products and key differentiators

Customer engagement and relationship building

  • Interact with potential customers to create excitement and interest in the brand
  • Educate consumers on product features, benefits, and usage through live demonstrations and conversations
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally

Sales and business growth

  • Drive sales by influencing purchase decisions through compelling brand storytelling
  • Identify potential upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximise revenue
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance KPls through influencing purchases

Event and promotional activities

  • Participate in brand activations, in-store promotions and marketing campaigns
  • Distribute promotional materials, samples, and giveaways to attract customer interest
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining promotional displays to enhance brand visibility

Market research and competitive insights

  • Gather customer feedback and insights to understand preferences and pain points
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities for brand positioning
  • Provide regular reports on customer interactions, sales performance and market insights

Training and continuous learning

  • Stay updated on brand updates, marketing campaigns and product innovations
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance brand knowledge and promotional skills
  • Seek opportunities for professional development in marketing, sales and customer engagement

Performance monitoring and reporting

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate performance, trends and insights to internal stakeholders
  • Conduct post-mortem analyses of key initiatives and campaigns to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • National diploma in Marketing and/or Sales related

 

Experience:

  • Experience in brand promotions, sales or marketing will be beneficial

 

Salary:   Market related
