Purpose:

A multinational pharmaceutical company is commencing a Sales and Marketing Learnership and Graduate Development Programme where pharmaceutical sales representatives are primarily responsible for representing the product portfolio of a healthcare company, to the target audience of Pharmacists, Dispensing Doctors, Medical Practitioners and/or highly qualified and experienced Physicians/Specialists

• Sales representatives are evaluated according to their achievement of set sales targets, activity in-field and virtually, number of interactions with the target audience, monitoring of own and competitor activity, territory analysis and management, amongst other Key Performance Indicators

Qualifying requirements

• Must have a completed tertiary Degree, preferably in the Sciences or Commercial fields (i.e., BSc/ BCom).
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and be in possession of a sound vehicle or have access to a vehicle when needed

• Communication skills: Must possess good verbal and written skills in English, be able to write effective e-mails, and be ready to learn to communicate in a virtual setting
• Learning agility: Should be eager to learn and be able to absorb large volumes of complex information in a reasonably short period of time
• Interpersonal effectiveness: Must get on well with others and cooperate in a team setting
• Computer Literacy: Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Salary:   Market related
